Hartford Symphony Orchestra concludes Talcott Mountain Music Festival with ‘The Music of Elton John’

Rock band Jeans ‘n Classics with lead vocalist Jean Meilleur will present "The Music of Elton John" on July 26.

HARTFORD — The Talcott Mountain Music Festival concludes on July 26 at 7:30 p.m. with The Music of Elton John at Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in Simsbury. This performance will be led by HSO Assistant Conductor, Adam Boyles. Single tickets are on sale at www.hartfordsymphony.org. With over 300 million records sold, Sir Elton John is at the very top of the rock’n roll pantheon. His virtuosic piano work, combined with brilliant songwriting, and a voice that never fails, has kept him front and center for almost five decades. The HSO is joined by rock band, Jeans ‘n Classics with lead vocalist Jean Meilleur to present an evening of hits that takes us from “Your Song” to “The Circle of Life” and beyond.

Advance single lawn tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Adult single lawn tickets are $30 at the gate. Gate prices take effect at 5 p.m. the day of the concert. Table and GrassPass subscriptions range in price from $125-$1,420. Gates open at 6 p.m. for all Talcott Mountain Music Festival concerts. Open to all ticket holders, the Family Fun Zone is open from 6 to 7:15 p.m.; families can enjoy free activities such as music-themed games and crafts, the Instrument Discovery Lab, and youth performances.
