WEST HARTFORD — The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Jewish Community Relations Council invites the community to attend a 5th Congressional District Virtual Candidate Forum, to be presented via Zoom on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. All U.S. congressional districts are holding elections on Nov. 3, including the 5th Congressional District of Connecticut, according to an email from organizers.
Community members are invited to hear from the three candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives for the 5th Congressional District of Connecticut: incumbent Democrat Jahana Hayes, Republican candidate David Xavier Sullivan, and Independent candidate Bruce Walczak. Each candidate will introduce themselves, discuss their priorities, and hold a moderated Q&A session. Attendees are invited to bring their questions and concerns.
This forum is free and co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut (JFACT), the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater New Haven, the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut, and Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation, Emek Shalom.
