Women’s Leadership Center at USJ hosts forum on ‘grit’

Got Grit? That was the topic of a Sept. 26 forum hosted by the Womens Leadership Center at the University of Saint Joseph. Based on the Ted talk by Angela Duckworth, author of “Grit, The Power of Passion and Perseverance,” the conference included an interactive discussion by women leaders about building and sharing traits that are statistically proven to help individuals succeed in achieving their long term goals. The Womens Leadership Center provides workshops, training, and courses for women determined to further develop their talents and achieve success in their chosen field.
