A trio of Conard runners broke the meet record Saturday in the 3,200 meters at the Elm City Coaches meet in New Haven.

Sophomores Gavin and Callum Sherry, and senior Vebjoern Roeed swept the top three positions in the event, each eclipsing the previous mark of 9 minutes, 39.17 seconds set by North Haven’s Ryan Brennan in 2016.
